VC WAX EMULSION VC WAX EMULSION is a versatile wax-emulsion used for imparting soft and supple handle to cotton and viscose yarns and fabrics. CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES

APPLICATIONS
A. Finishing of cotton yarn and fabric VC WAX EMULSION finds use in finishing of cotton yarn. The recommended concentration is 2-3%, on weight of the material. The yarns to be treated are wetted out in the solution, squeezed well and dried without rinsing. For finishing cotton fabric, pad through 20-30 gpl VC WAX EMULSION and dry. B. Finishing of cotton longcloth, poplin and saree material with VC WAX EMULSION in combination with starch and other softeners and fillers: For finishing with starch, usually 20-30 gpl VC WAX EMULSION, 5-10% (on weight of starch) For glaze and sheen finish, usually 20-30 gpl VC WAX EMULSION is employed with other starch finishes and the finished fabric is then calendered. C. Finishing of rayon material: VC WAX EMULSION, when used with C.M.C, glue, gelatine or other adhesives in single thread sizing of rayon, gives flexibility and added strength to the yarn. 10-20% VC WAX EMULSION calculated on the weight of adhesive should generally be used.
