Carrier TCI
CARRIER-TCI based on dichlorobenzene is available in a self-emulsifiable form.it is very essential to get enhanced dye uptake on polyester fibre/yarn when the dyeing is to be carried out at the atmospheric pressure at the boli.where suitable pressure dyeing equipment is not available.
CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES
- Physical appearance: pale yellow liquid
- Ionic nature: anionic
- Stability: high temperature dyeing conditions
- Miscibility: readily forms milky white emulsions with cold water with stirring.
APPLICATIONS: Jigger dyeing: the deybath is set at 60 drg. C using about 2-3 g/l of CARRIER-TCI.the pH is adjusted around 5-5. 5 with acetic acid (1 g/l) and sodium acetate (0.5 g/l).the fabric is entered at 60 deg. C.the required amount of the previously prepared dyestuff dispersion is then sieved in to the dyebath over two ends.the temperature raised to 100 deg. C in 30 mins and the dyeing process continued for 60-90 min at the boil.after the dyeing is completed,the fabric is resined and reduction-cleared. CORRECTION OF FAULTY DYEINGS
Uneven dyeings of polyester goods may be levelled out with 3.5% of CARRIER-TCI at high temperature. Packing: 50 kgs carboys and 220 kgs drum. (The information is given in good faith, but is without warranty)
